Who you will be working with…

My career path has given me a wealth of experience working with a wide range of people, professionals and stakeholders in a variety of industries. I have many years experience of collaborating with individuals on a one to one basis, and working in teams.

I know the benefits of joint endeavours and I’m excited to share this with you!

I was once where you probably are now.

Dedicated to your work, striving to be the best that you can be and with hopes and dreams about where you will be and what you will achieve in the future.

BUT you are overwhelmed by everything that is on your to do list, you have a constant feeling of anxiety that your list is getting longer rather than shorter, and is full of stuff that doesn’t really interest you.

You know there are interesting, creative and exciting opportunities out there to get your teeth into, the kind of things that made you decide to devote yourself to your chosen field of work, but you never have the time or headspace for that.  You know these are passing you by, but you just can’t see how you are ever going to get the time to explore them.

You may decide that with just a few hours in the evening or at weekends you could get on top of things, but then you realise that all that is happening is that you are missing out on the other important things in your life: family, friends, fun and all the time you are getting more tired and more grumpy with those around you.

For me, this was an awful and unsustainable state to be in.

But, there is a way out of this feeling. For me, I shifted my working pattern, reduced my hours, and have been lucky enough to work collaboratively with some brilliant job-shares over the years. I want to pass on this message of hope to you too.  There is an alternative to your current working week. There are reliable, professional and enthusiastic virtual assistants out there, ready and willing to collaborate with you (ME!)

I can offer you…

  • A positive can-do attitude and determination to complete tasks to the best of my ability.

  • Amazing attention to detail.

  • Empathy and a sense of responsibility. Honesty and transparency are important to me.

  • Reliability and pride in a doing a professional job.

  • Flexibility, I respond well to unexpected challenges and have excellent collaboration skills.

  • Energy and enthusiasm with a belief that goals can be achieved through hard work.

My background

Throughout my working life I have sought opportunities to learn and grow. I began as a property valuer and surveyor and gained the professional qualification of Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). After a period with the civil service, I transferred to a small private practice.

With a diploma in Business Studies and a broad range of professional skills, as well as excellent organisational abilities and professional communication skills, developed through many years as a teacher I am confident supporting a wide range of stakeholders.

Comfortable in fast-paced environments, I can work to tight deadlines and am not overwhelmed by unexpected challenges! I have a proven track record in managing long, medium and short term plans so can proactively support you where ever you are in your business development.
